Friday~1st day of 7 day treatment

Steve slept most of the day today and had some family come in and out over the afternoon and evening. They are taking his cell count down to "0" and then will rebuild it slowly. Please pray for his appetite...he doesn't feel like eating right now also pray that his spleen will return to it's normal state. It is enlarged and causes him discomfort. Knowing Steve and his humor I have to share this. At one point I told him, "we are all in this together" and quipped back with a smile and nod of his head and said, "Well some more than others"...he could always make me laugh.

We will keep up this regime of chemo for the next few days and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being on your knees for him. A friend of mine brought by a praying Demdaco doll that is on her knees...every time I look at it I say, "You go girl"! I wonder if they manufacture one that is lieing on her face?

"Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

  2. Hello dear friends...
A new day has begun...our prayers continue. Our precious Lord remains vigilant. He knit you together once and we can believe in Him to know how to knit you together again :)

So, Steve, what sounds good(or at least tolerable) to eat? Whatever it is, go for it! Even a bite or two every once in a while. You know we have to all "mother" you a bit-but we won't insist you eat veggies right now if they don't sound good. Dawn, don't you forget to eat from time to time too.

As the chemo continues, we pray the side effects will be minimal. Try to remember that each drop given is one drop closer to done. You can make it...God will help you endure it. And when you are too sick or tired to call on Him and pray remember this:

...the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. Rom 8:26.

Know that we love you both and will continue to hold you up in prayer.

    Believing God
    Cheri
