I don't know about Steve but just now I turned a corner...I'm no longer "waiting on anc's" I'm just waiting on the Lord. How many times must He straighten me out? Steve repeatedly uses the line "we're in a tight spot" from the movie Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? It manages to reflect some of the feelings he and I have as we journey through this valley. His quips give comic relief to the anxiety that begs to be allowed admission and within me would surely cause grumbling and complaining, a sure sign that I am not trusting the Lord to deliver. Well, in reading through a study this morning on Jehovah Rapha (the Lord our healer) the writer, who has developed a wonderful guide through the scriptures on this subject, expains the children of Israels' reaction towards Moses when they fled Egypt, he states "...we see that from the outset many in the camp had a grumbling, murmuring spirit, reflecting the fact that they really did not trust Jehovah to deliver them out of this 'tight spot'". I had to chuckle as I read that, thinking God truly has a sense of humor and He is going to deliver us from this tight spot!
