I am home preparing for Stone's Trace but Steve called to tell me some doctors had a pow wow and gave him a few options on how to treat his lung problem. They found some nodules on his lungs (besides the infiltration) and would like to do a biopsy to determine a treatment plan. So today he is going to have a procedure at 11:00 am that will take a tube up through his nostrils and down into his lungs to take a tissue sample. They have switched the type of IV antibodies they are already giving him and as of last night at bedtime he was already feeling better. Our Pastor Tom is going to be on hand at the hospital with him today. That makes me feel much better since I can't be there. Other than that Steve's counts are coming up very well, his ANC (level of infection) is at .660 (over 500 is out of panic range).
The Lord's mercies are fresh every morning so we will pray and trust that God's mercy will fall afresh today, especially at 11 am.
Blessings in His Name,
Dawn

Another bump in the road, perhaps a pothole, but the Lord is still at the wheel of the road crews....patching and paving. Find your rest in Him and know that we keep on praying and that you are NEVER far from our thoughts.
ReplyDeleteMay you feel His comforting embrace and uplifting hands of hope around you.
Love to you both dear friends,
