Sunday~Got Home Okay

We got home okay this afternoon. Steve finished his five rounds of chemo and was checked out by noon. Our family had a fajita and taco bar planned for today so Steve and I stopped at the store, picked up our supplies, and headed for the kitchen. Steve is just starting to feel a bit tired and his counts are expected to go down this week but he was excited and geared up to cook today. So "with alittle help from his friends" he made a scrumptuous supper. He will have his blood counts checked in Fort Wayne a couple of times this coming week and then next week we head to Chicago for the transplant.

As some of you know our immediate family has had an annual highland game called Tournament of McCreery for sometime and this would have been our seventh year. Rather than to have it this year it was decided to take a (seventh year) rest and resume next year but we still gathered for the ceremony today, talked about our family and values, prayed and sang together. Ahh...the blessing of family. We also just got the photographers work back of the family photos we had taken last month so we thought we would share them with you.
Thank you all,
Dawn and Steve
