Yes, the last comic standing finally made it home! Steve and I rolled in about 8:30pm last night hoping to watch the sunset but the trees were in the way. The sky had that beautiful orange glow however and we had a laugh when we spotted my brother out on the pond paddling around in the kayak. I say a laugh because we had just hung up the cell phone after talking to him and we thought he was still at work...the little trickster. We are getting back into the swing of things today...unpacking, perusing paperwork, and lining up meds. Home Healthcare stopped in to train on the antibiotic infusion and confirm we knew how to maintence the apheresis catheter. We will have to administer the liquid antibiotic through his IV until it is finished on Saturday and we also have a little song ditty to help us remember how much heprin to use in each of the three lines for the daily maintence. Lots of things to remember and manage so we keep putting God's word to the test and you know what, Jesus is sufficient for all our needs, God's word passed the test...it is true.
