Sunday~Waiting on the Lord

A note popped up on my computer as I was looking over another site yesterday that said, "Don't count your days, make your days count". It gently struck me...how apropos I thought to myself (actually I said,"wow Lord right on"), it was just so fitting and exactly what I needed to keep me focused on the right path. As you all have read for the past few weeks I've been counting, and counting, and counting. Not only the days but Steve's blood counts, his clothing as I line them up on the shelves, and even...his countenance. But mainly I, and my whole family, are counting on the Lord and that is what the pop up reminded me to keep doing, to make each day count for the Lord is with us, holding us by the hand and under His wing. My dear friend and Pastor's wife reminded me..."Never will HE hold your hand more tightly than when HE is leading you through the dark." (Beth Moore) Let me just finish by saying God is holding our hand through all of you, our dear and precious family, friends, caregivers, prayer warriors, and neighbors.

Oh and just in case anyone wants to know here is Steve's counts for today :)

  2. Thank you Dawn for reminding us all to MAKE IT COUNT! You, your family and especially Steve are an amazing example of God's Love to the world. I am uplifted each day and sent away with renewed spirit when I read this blog. I am honored to know Steph and blessed to call her friend. Through the rays of sunlight and the sometimes shadows, each of you continue to witness to many and your words have humbled us tremendously. We continue to pray for "Steph's Dad" and your entire family. Thank you, again, for the continued lift :)
