For those who may not know, and I didn't a month ago, the anc counts stand for absolute nutrofil count. It is a measurement with the white blood cells that tell how prone to infection you are. When it is below 500 there is a severe risk of infection so it needs to be above 500 for Steve to come home. He received another transfusion today after I left and he said he slept most of the afternoon because they give him benedryl when he gets a unit of blood. That makes him relaxed and tired but later he is usually perkier from the transfusion. I'm home now but Christopher just called and said he and his family were there with Steve and he is talking away feeling pretty good.
I trust the Lord will work His timing here so when he does come home it will be right.
