Tuesday~exciting day

Good news about Steve's counts, they all came up! His ANC is 600 so he doesn't have to restrict himself from fresh fruits and vegetables anymore. He can also shuffle around the plants a bit more and continue to help with the watering. He drove today to the doctors appointment in Fort Wayne; this is the first he has been behind the wheel since he got sick. He actually felt so good that after the appointment he decided to drive us up to Fremont to see all his friends and colleagues at General Aluminum, stop and see some old friends on the way home and then get a few groceries. I was so worn out I had to take a nap when we got home but he was still going strong and popped a pizza in the oven for supper. That is about the extent of his abilities though, he does get winded and fatigued if he does too much since his blood counts are still abnormal.

His next doctor's appointment is a week from today, Tuesday May 13. They will check his blood counts again and maybe decide when to do the bone marrow test. We thank you again for praying and we are praising the Lord that he has faithfully answered requests for no fevers or infections which is a real praise. Steve's counts just keep climbing, which is what the doctors anticipated would happen if nothing set him back.
