The visit with Chicago was encouraging this time, the results of the discussion are that three stem cell donors have come forward that are close matches, they are being brought in for further testing and we will know the outcome soon. If a donor is suitable Steve could be having his transplant as soon as mid October, not far away.
Steve's local Fort Wayne oncologist is also consulting with MD Anderson in Texas as to the best treatment option for Steve's illness, we will discuss with him on Friday what the outcome of that talk was and unless there is some significant or new evidence that would lead us in another direction it makes sense to continue with the transplant in Chicago.
The Lord tells us in Proverbs 15:22 that without counsel purposes are disappointed; but in the multitude of counselors they are established. Please continue to pray that our plans will be established and bring glory to God.
