This blog is a journal of God's continual faithfulness in our lives when Steve was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML) in May of 2010 which developed from Myelofibrosis (scarring of the bone marrow). After several months of chemotherapy Steve underwent a Stem Cell Transplant from an unrelated donor on November 23, 2010 at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Tell nurse Jackie Al said hi. She was his transplant nurse and with us the whole time , as you saw from our pictures on Al's page. You are in great hands!!!
