Well, we arrived at MJ&B B&B at around 8:00pm last night and left after a good breakfast this morning. Those blueberry muffins were great. Thanks Auntie. We arrived at UCMC at 9:50am, signed all the pertinent paper work, got my blood drawn, got my hip drilled and admitted to room TN652. Got orientated and some more blood drawn while Dawn made some trips to the car for our gear. She's making her bed as I type. Just started the first bag of chemo which will be followed by a different mix, all lasting about 6-7 hours. Have a pretty nice view from the sixth floor, just down from my old room back in August. Dawn has passed out a couple sachets to the nurses so we've got them snortin' lavender already. We are officially at T-7 counting down to transplant day on the 23rd. Hope you all had a wonderful day and trust the Lord will provide wisdom for all here as is needed.

Hi Steve and Dawn,
ReplyDeleteYou are in the same room Al was in! How funny is that. It did good things for us and we are expecting the same for you. It's nice to have the work out room next to you huh? You are in our thoughts and prayers daily.

Hi there residents of TN652!!
ReplyDeleteLet's see.... TN,is that
Tennessee, Top Notch, Truly Notable, Totally Nifty, Treat Nicely, Trustin' and (k)Nowin'....?
Whatever it stands for, you can rest assured that God is in that room with you too! What a joy to know that He is in the very air that you are breathing!
I hope you will soon find yourself more comfortable with the routines there and that God will bless you with kind nurses. Know that you remain ever in our prayers and dear to our hearts.
Love you both,
Cheri and Carl
