Monday~Day T-1

We were just told that Steve's transplant is scheduled for 11:00 am tomorrow morning.  Stephanie and Heath are planning to be here, that will be nice to have them with us.  They actually have three transplants scheduled for tomorrow so there is quite a bit of  coordinating going on around here.  The staff seem to take it in stride though since they are the experts at it and do it on a regular basis.  Another praise is that we have found an apartment nearby for December and January, we will be very close by when we come for clinic visits for the next two months and if Steve would get a fever it will only take us minutes to get here.  Thank you for all your continued prayer and support...we just can't say that enough.  It means the world to us to have so many helping us along the way.  Steve gets up and walks laps up and down the hall regularly and stays up to date with the laptop he brought.  His appetite is starting to wane a bit now but he has learned how to manage the times when his taste buds are off.  We are praying he will have no to minimal side affects from all the chemicals and drugs and that his bone marrow will receive the new stem cells and be a good engraftment.
Love in Christ to all,
Dawn & Steve

  2. God's provision is so great! Finding a donor so quickly is truly a blessing....and He will certainly continue to provide exactly what you need for each day as it comes. We are with you in prayer, as well as praying for your donor. Rest well, dear friends, and know that God is still in the knitting business!

  7. Dawn,Steve and family,
Our continued prayers from Arizona are sending God's blessings to all of you. May the Dr.'s hands be guided by the Lord and the stem cells and it's donor flourish. May your healing be an example of true answer to so many prayers and testimony of God's grace.
