Saturday~Day T-3

Steve is feeling pretty good, the itchy hives seem to be subsiding thanks to the higher doses of steroids and we had some more visitors...yeah!!!  Heath, Kristie, Trystan, and Keagan came today and we had a great visit.  Kristie brought us a basket full of treats to eat, Trystan made Pa a Starwars Trooper Ship to get the white blood cell soldiers fighting the good fight, and Keagan brought a poster full of love and smiley faces he made for the room.  I put it next to the window suncatcher that Annie sent with us when we left home. They all had a good visit with Pa and then the kids and I headed out to look over an apartment nearby.  After that we went downtown to the Rainforest for something to eat...it was fun for the boys and a treat for Heath and Kristie's anniversary, which is today.

Steve is now hooked up to his last dose of fludarabine and campath.  Tomorrow he will have melphalan and then Monday is a day of rest from any chemicals. He has to have ice in his mouth for 6 hours tomorrow to keep him from getting mouth sores. Everything is going forward on schedule and are praying that it will continue to go smoothly.  Also, if you could say a prayer for Bob who was here yesterday we would appreciate it, Pam surprised us with a phone call alittle bit ago to say he developed a blood clot in his leg and was admitted to the hospital today.

Blessings in Christ,
Dawn & Steve
