I know many of you are praying extra hard right now and I couldn't be more grateful. Not to panic anybody but Steve's body is not responding yet to the medicine for the intestinal infection so they put him on a stronger antibiotic today in order to get control of the problem. His counts are at the lowest they have been so far and he had a transfusion of platelets today, which is normal, but my concern is that the longer he lays in bed the more susceptible he is to lung problems so please pray he get the strength to exercise his lungs. I hope to see a turn for the better in the next day or two.
I keep thinking about a conversation Steve and I had a few days ago about how early it gets dark and he read me this verse: "even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is as bright as the day, for darkness is as light to you." Psalms 139:12.
I like that, even the darkness is light to God...that's a good thought.
In the Light of Jesus,
Dawn and Steve

What a wonderful thought you post in your blog. The darkness that brings fear and uncertainty is light to our Lord. We think of you and continue to pray for victory over those negative cells. May they all return to their normal duties within your body. Deep breaths to exercise those lungs.
