Well there are no changes with the stomach infection situation yet but I think Steve looked a little better this morning. He sat up for awhile and listened to some songs on the computer and played his harmonica, that is a good sign to me. Oh...and he did his breathing treatments! Yeah! A new team of doctors came through this morning and felt things were pretty normal for now since he isn't having any pain or hardness in the stomach. He is getting platelets right now and two bags of blood to follow. On a good note the chest exray was alright and the blood cultures haven't showed any problems, praise the Lord. Prayer works, I believe the Lord delights in answering our requests, thank you for the help.
Blessings,
Dawn and Steve

Good morning, dear friends!
ReplyDeleteI pray this day will be one of improvement and continued confidence in the Lord's provision and healing!
I was reading in my devotional book this morning. The verse reference was taken from Proverbs. It says: A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bonses. (Prov 15:30) If I could draw a picture of a cheerful face, I would. Dawn - perhaps you can make a cheerful one (or goofy one) to pass along to Steve for me. As for the good news - God loves us every day in every way! I don't know about Chicago land, but we have some nioe fresh clean snow on the ground - always a joyful reminder of how God has washed us whiter than snow and makes all things pure again!
Know that my heart is full of love and prayers for you both. Don't lose heart. He is able!!
Love,
Cheri
PS - keep doing those breathing treatments, Steve!
