Morning All,
We're back in Chicago after a nice weekend at home. I did sneak out a couple times and fed the llama and goats. No cuttin' wood though. We had a blessed time with our family at Steph and Andys home Sunday. Plenty of food, fellowship and fun to go around. We arrived back in Chicago yesterday for a 1:15 appointment with the pulmonary technician. A lot of blow, blow, blow, blow, blow and hold it! Al will appreciate that. She said I did real good. My next appointment will be Thursday, December 30th with Dr. Larson. We should know the results of the bone marrow byopsy then and get a clearer picture of how I'm doing overall. Special thanks to all for the cards, letters, words of encouragement, random acts of kindness and most of all your prayers for us. God has moved in mighty ways by showing Himself faithful to and thru us all.

What a joy to hear all of these good reports, we follow your postings although we don't write much. Was going to contact you last weekend, but felt like it was to be family time for you,i'm sure it flew by very quickly. We had a wonderful Christmas with the kids and family. I pray you'll continue to do well and get good reports from the Dr's. May God continue to bless your family, debbie schermerhorn.

ReplyDeleteCarl & I are preparing for our family to arrive tomorrow...so our Christmas gathering is a bit later than most. So glad you could come home for a bit and pray now that God is giving you strength and encouragement as you have returned to your home away from home. We are anxious to hear the bone marrow results...no more so than you are I'm sure. Remember that God is in the waiting and He will be sustain you both.
