Friday ~ Just me and my dad

Evening All,

We had a change in plans this week; instead of having my blood drawn locally Dr. Larson wanted to see me today so my son Chris took off and spent the day with me in Chicago. The news was good. The doctor had the hematopathology and molecular reports from the 100 day bone marrow biopsy for us. In a nutshell: No morphologic evidence for presence of residual/recurrent primary myelofibrosis or acute myeloid leukemia. My blood counts continue to climb sloooooowly but climb. No medication changes aaannd I got my first immunization shot for certain types of pneumonia. The doctor wasn't hep on me going back to work yet but did say possibly toward the end of summer, so I'll continue to be impatiently patient. Thanks again Chris for the day. Next appointment is still April 28th in Chicago.

Isa 52:7 - How lovely on the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace And brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, {And} says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"

A Happy man

How wonderful to read the words of your medical report. While the journey has been long and certainly arduous, what a joy to read.

With much thanksgiving to the giver of all.

Happy Easter. someday, we need to meet in real life.
